Welcome to Book Talk
Where you can find all the information you need on the books we're reading at TUHS.
Taft High has one of the best high school libraries in the state, and it's constantly adding to its collection. Whether you like fantasy, science fiction, drama, horror, non-fiction, or the classics, they have it.
Book Talk's goal is to get the word out about popular books at our school, as well as to introduce students to books that they may never have thought about reading before. We have a growing list of staff and student recommendations, and we're looking for more. You can email your recommendation in to the Librarian , and we'll get it posted on the Book Talk page.
Teen Read Week results will be posted at www.ala.org/teenstopten

Some of Our Most POPULAR BOOKS
Most students at TUHS should get 15 pts. per quarter for their A.R. requiremment in their English class. Depending on what book students choose, that usually means one or two books. According to our A.R. statistics, these are our most popular books in the TUHS Library. Check out the AR bookfinder for more choices.
