Where Can I Get a Copy of the Gusher? Copies are distributed by the staff during 7th period the day we receive the papers from the printer. The Gusher also goes out with The Midway Driller. Old copies of The Gusher can be picked up in Mr. Wolfe's Room, 107. You can also read it online.	What Programs and Tools Are Used to Create the Newspaper? We use Adobe InDesign CS2 to lay out the newspaper and Adobe Photoshop CS2 to edit photos. We take our photos with a Canon Rebel XT.
What are the Duties of Each Staff Job? The staff writers write stories and take photos. The section editors write stories, take photos, and make the first edits to the stories submitted by the staff writers and other editors. The editors-in-chief write stories, take photos, and make second edits.	Why Does it Take So Long for the Newspaper to Come Out? Journalism is only one period, so the staff has an hour each day to get their work done. Only so much can get done in that hour, along with extra time put in by each student. There is so much behind-the-scenes work to putting out a newspaper, so it's a lot harder to publish than most students realize.
